IP ADDRESSING FOR MOUNTAIN SKY SCHOOL TCS PROJECT
For the purpose of this topology
a class B IP address of 150.150.0.0 is reserved for the core WAN
topology. Each of the 3 routers has 4 serial ports connections
with each other using T1. For each connection a pair of IP
addresses is needed for the connected ports. Also between ISP and
Data Centre Router a Frame Relay connection is used, so another
pair of IP addresses is needed. And finally between each of the
three routers and its connected school another pair of IP
addresses is needed.
So 7 subnets are needed, I'll use 3 bits for the subnet portion and the rest for
hosts, and this means the netmask would be 255.255.224.0 = /19 .
