MOUNTAIN SKY VLAN 1 DETAILS

  - VLAN1 is used for enterprise servers and administrative server:
      - E-mail/DNS server
      - Application server
      - Library server
      - Administrative server
  - VLAN1 is used to logically separate enterprise and administrative servers from the rest of the network; this is done for security purposes
  - Enterprise servers and administrative server are all located in the MDF room so only that switch from the MDF directly connected to them will have VLAN1 implemented; all other switches do not need VLAN1
  - For VLAN1 we assign on the MDF Switch ports 1 to 8 in a port-centric VLAN; for now we'll use ports 1 to 5 for our servers but we must think of a future expansion of our network so that ports 6, 7 and 8 are reserved for that expansion
