  - This topology characteristics:
      - The Main Distribution Facility (MDF) is located in the same room with the Point-of-Presence (POP) at the Building A East
       - We have two Intermediate Distribution Facilities (IDFs) located respectively at the Building A West and Multi-Purpose Building
       - The purpose of the IDFs is the "expansion" of cable length; for our LAN we have used CAT 5 UTP (Category 5 Unshielded Twisted Pair) and this cable's maximum length is around 100 meters so if the distance between the MDF and any room requiring connection (i.e. : a room from the Multi-Purpose Building) exceeds 100 meters we would need the "expansion" of cable length; for this we would use an IDF that would cover all the rooms requiring connections
       - Between IDFs and MDF we have used Fiber Optic Multimode Cable, capable of transmission speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s and a superior cable length than CAT 5 UTP

  - Explanation of colours from MAPs:
      - With GREEN we have represented the Backbone connection of Fiber Optic Multimode Cable between MDF and IDFs
       - With MAGENTA we have represented the existing conduit for data media cable runs
      - With RED we have represented those rooms in which MDF and IDFs are located
