- This topology characteristics:
- We have numbered all rooms requiring connection
so that rooms 1001 to 1023 and offices A1 and A2 are all requiring cable
runs; room 1010 is used for the IDF1
- Rooms requiring connection are numbered and
contain an 1, which is the data media termination point; this termination
point will contain 4 CAT 5 UTP runs terminated on a fourplex wall mounted
EIA/TIA standard outlet; 3 runs are for curriculum computers and one for
teacher's
- Explanation of colours from MAPs:
- With RED we have represented the IDF1 room and
CAT 5 UTP (Category 5 Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable used to connect all
those rooms to the IDF1
